If you’re traveling to Paros, chances are you’re staying in Naoussa, which is on the opposite side of the island, and you’ll have to figure out how to get there from the airport.

A lot of people pick up their rental car at the airport, and they can quickly just drive themselves to Naoussa.

But if you’re not renting a car in Paros (that’s what we did), you’ll need to find an alternative way from Paros Airport to Naoussa.

Luckily, there are a couple of opinions, and they’re all very convenient.

You can either hire a taxi upon arrival, pre-arrange an airport transfer, or take the bus to Naoussa. It really depends on your budget and whether you are visiting Paros as a solo traveler, as a couple, or with your family!

1. Book a Taxi from Paros Airport to Naoussa

The quickest and most convenient way to get from Paros Airport to Naoussa is by hiring a taxi. Taxis in Paros are usually gray or black vehicles with a yellow taxi sign on the roof, similar to most countries around the world.

The trip usually takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on if there is any traffic while passing through Parikia and where your hotel is in Naoussa.

Either way, this is the only way to get a door-to-door drop-off in Paros, so if you want a stress-free transfer, this is your best bet.

How Much is a Taxi from Paros Airport to Naoussa?

The taxi price from Paros Airport to Naoussa is inconsistent but usually costs between 40-60€. This price is based on # of passengers, luggage space needed, and the time of day.

When you book a taxi online, the price is final, no matter how bad the traffic gets.

But in person, heavy traffic conditions can often affect the price of the airport transfer.

Is there Uber in Paros?

No, there is no Uber in Paros or any of the Greek Islands. You will find Uber available in some parts of Athens and Thessaloniki, but it is not common and, therefore, unreliable as a means of transportation in Greece.

What about getting from Paros Airport to Parikia?

You will have the same three options to get from Paros Airport to Parikia. But you can expect the price of the taxi will be slightly cheaper since Parikia is much closer to the airport and you can also arrange a transfer ahead of time.

2. Take a Bus from Paros Airport to Noussa (Cheapest Option)

Taking the bus from Paros Airport to Naoussa is the cheapest option for getting around but also the most time-consuming. The entire route takes about an hour and requires two buses, one from Paros Airport to Parikia (Paros Port) and another from there to Naoussa.

Each bus ticket costs €1.80-3, so the total journey will cost you €3-6 in total.

However, taking a bus can be a bit of a hassle if you have lots of luggage. Also, there are only 3-4 buses per day going to/from the airport, so you could end up waiting a while, depending on your arrival time.

3. Car Rental At Paros Airport (Best for a Multi-Day Trip to Paros)

If you are planning a multi-day trip to Paros, renting a car from the airport is your best bet. It’s convenient and will give you more freedom to explore the island at your own pace. The roads are in great condition, too!

Plus, it’s surprisingly cheap. The first time we rented a car in Paros, it cost us about $150 for a 10-day rental. So, even though we didn’t use the car every single day, it was the same price as 4-5 taxis, so we felt good about the decision.

Naoussa is a small, picturesque fishing village located on the north-western side of Paros. It’s a popular tourist destination known for its stunning beaches and great nightlife. Naoussa has been growing in popularity over the past few years, and there are now plenty of restaurants and bars to explore around the beautiful harbor.

How Far Is It From Paros Airport To Naoussa?

Naoussa is on the opposite side of the island from the airport, approximately 21 km away from the airport (about 20 minutes by car under normal traffic conditions.

Does Paros Have an Airport?

Yes, Paros does have an airport, but the airport is VERY small, and it’s not very busy. There are only two gates and a couple of flights arriving from and departing for Athens each day. Sky Express and Aegean Air are the only airlines that fly directly to Paros.

Shops and Cafes in Naoussa – Naoussa has a quaint, cosmopolitan charm that is immediately apparent as you explore its whitewashed streets. The town’s architecture is a unique blend of classic Greek and Venetian styles, with narrow streets full of local boutiques, local jewelry makers, and cute cafes to explore

Visit Nearby Beaches – The beaches near Naoussa are truly some of the most beautiful in all of Paros. Kolymbithres Beach (5 minutes from town) is the most popular on the whole island, and Piperi Beach is right next to the harbor. There are lots of water sports available at these beaches, like paddle boarding, wakeboarding, and even sailing lessons! Additionally, there are even more cool beaches just a short drive, including Santa Maria Beach (5 kilometers east) and Kalogeros/Moles Beach (12 kilometers south).
