13 Boujee Luxury Villas in Naxos for a High-End Holiday
If you’ve ever tried to book a hotel or villa in a place you’ve never been, it probably looked something like this:
- Open 20+ tabs of different places to stay.
- Scroll through listings that all start to blend together
- Get tired and just book something that looks pretty good, still feeling unsure about whether the villa’s reviews and photos are actually reliable.
At least, that’s how I remember feeling on our first trip to Naxos. It’s exhausting.
So, after doing all that hard work ourselves and spending over a month in Naxos (getting to see quite a few of the villas in person — and even staying in a couple), we feel confident we can help you cut through the fluff.
The following spots are ACTUALLY the best luxury villas in Naxos.
Some of them are right on the beach, some fall more into ‘quiet hillside retreats,’ and others are here because of their awesome private pools!
We’ve personally vetted each spot, focused on the details that truly matter, and skipped the overpriced duds that look better online than they feel in real life. So, whether you want to splurge on a honeymoon suite or have the ability to spend a little extra on a nice place in Naxos, here’s what’s worth booking!
Just Want Our Top Picks?
If skimming this whole article feels like a lot and you want the TL;DR summary, here are our favorites!
Agia Anna: Agia Anna Living – Agia Anna Living is a surprisingly spacious and well-equipped villa just steps from the beach, great for couples who want an affordable yet upscale stay. Our room was complete with a private pool, daily beachfront breakfast, and thoughtful design touches.
Agios Prokopios: Liana Beach Hotel & Spa– A boutique beachfront stay with a personal feel, offering everything from family-friendly rooms to romantic suites with hot tubs—plus a spa, a pool, and direct access to Agios Prokopios Beach.
Plaka Beach: Aegean Palace – Aegean Palace is a beachfront resort on Plaka with family-friendly perks and full resort amenities—plus private pool suites that feel like your own little villa, making it one of the best luxury stays for a stress-free family trip to Naxos.
Naxos Chora: El Mar – El Mar feels like a serene, design-forward hideaway just outside Naxos Chora. It’s awesome if you want boutique hotel comforts with the privacy and calm of your own secluded villa.
1. Agia Anna Living
Location: Agia Anna
Ratings: 9.0/10 ⭐ (351 reviews)

This is one of the more affordable luxury villas in Naxos, which is exactly what we were looking for on our last trip to Naxos.
Since we usually stay for a week (or longer), we wanted something that felt upscale without an outrageous price tag.
Agia Anna Living fits the bill.

The first thing we noticed? It’s huge. You could easily fit a family of four, but as a couple, it felt extra spacious. We especially loved having a separate living area so we weren’t just stuck lounging on the bed all the time.
We also appreciated that the villa had separate areas for the shower, sink, and toilet, respectively. It also had separate TVs for the bedroom and the living area, along with a stocked kitchenette.
Usually, when we have a kitchenette, we cook our own breakfast, but you actually get a free daily buffet breakfast at Santana Beach Club every day (with a beachfront view). There were loads of options, including scrambled/fried eggs, sausages, pastries, yogurt with honey, breads, cheeses, and fresh spanakopita.

Additionally, almost all villas feature their own heated private pools. Unfortunately, you can only use the heated jets at certain times of the day. The staff said it was to avoid disturbing the guests because they are too loud. This was really the only downside of the whole stay, though!

All of the villas are just a short walk from Agia Anna Beach, and within walking distance (or a quick 3-minute drive) from both Agios Prokopios Beach and Maragkas Beach.
While it’s not the bougiest hotel on the list, we loved spending a few nights here on our last trip to Naxos!
2. Nissaki Beach Hotel
Location: Agios Georgios
Ratings: 9.3/10 ⭐ (301 reviews)

If you want to stay right on the beach and be able to walk into town, this is one of the best picks.
Nissaki Beach Hotel sits on Agios Georgios Beach and is less than 10 minutes on foot from the restaurants, shops, and sunset views in Naxos Town.
The rooms are bright, clean, and modern with white walls, natural tones, and a few pops of color. Some have sea views or private terraces, and even the standard rooms feel luxurious (with accessories like the hydromassage showers).
There’s no spa, but the hotel makes up for it with a beachfront restaurant, a shaded pool, and a surprisingly good breakfast with local ingredients.
There’s also no parking on site, but you can usually find street parking, and everything is easily accessible on foot anyway.
It’s not flashy, but it’s polished, well-run, and perfectly located for a beach-meets-town trip.
3. Liana Beach Hotel & Spa
Location: Agios Prokopios
Ratings: 8.4/10 ⭐ (309 reviews)

Liana Beach Hotel & Spa is right across from Agios Prokopios Beach, so you’re just steps from the sand.
It’s also a smaller hotel, which gives it a more personal vibe, yet still offers plenty of perks.
Rooms range from simple to more extravagant (some have sea views or hot tubs). Others are well-suited for families with multiple bathrooms and extra beds. Cribs are free if you’re traveling with a baby. For couples, the Premium Room with Hot Tub and Sea View is one to grab if you can.
There’s a full spa, a beachfront pool, and a restaurant with solid Greek and Mediterranean dishes.
4. Sundunes Hotel Naxos
Location: Plaka Beach
Ratings: 9.6/10 ⭐ (206 reviews)

If you want a luxurious spot right on the beach, this is it.
Sundunes sits directly on Plaka Beach, one of the most scenic and peaceful spots on the island. The hotel is brand new, spotless, and designed with a modern, Cycladic style that feels clean and comfortable.
The hotel is brand new, featuring whitewashed walls and natural tones that keep the design simple yet stylish. Many rooms have a view of the sea, and some even come with a private pool. That said, the Deluxe Sea View Suite (without a pool) is still a solid pick if you’re traveling as a couple or small group.
Breakfast is included and well done, but there’s no on-site restaurant. Luckily, it’s within walking distance of both 3 Brothers Restaurant and Nikos & Maria, so eating out is easy. You’ve also got an infinity pool, a small gym, and loungers set up on the sand that are free for guests.
It’s quiet, polished, and feels more like a boutique escape than a resort.
5. Naxos Island Hotel
Location: Agios Prokopios
Ratings: 9.2/10 ⭐ (107 reviews)

Naxos Island Hotel is literally two minutes from Agios Prokopios Beach AND right at the center of town with tons of great local tavernas, international food, and shopping at its doorstep.
There’s also a great pool, restaurant, and a huge rooftop terrace that even has a telescope! lol
All of the rooms are spacious and clean, many with sea views, and some select rooms even come with private hot tubs on the patio.
We haven’t personally stayed here to verify, but breakfast is included and consistently receives high praise in reviews for its use of fresh, local ingredients. They also mention that the staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming from the moment you arrive.
This place feels more boutique than resort, but it still offers solid amenities, including a spa, gym, and a surprisingly good rooftop restaurant.
6. Aegean Palace
Location: Plaka Beach
Ratings: 8.6/10 ⭐ (484 reviews)

Aegean Palace has a bit of everything. It’s right on Plaka Beach, so you’re less than a minute from the sand, but it also has the perks of a full resort (two pools, a spa, a gym, and even a small water park for kids).
What makes this place stand out is the range. You can book a more affordable room and still enjoy all the amenities, or go all-in on one of their top-tier suites. The Grand Suite and Signature Suite both come with private pools, garden or mountain views, and full terraces. The Grand Suite even has two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a pool with a view. These suites are big, quiet, and perfect if you’re planning to spend time relaxing on-site.
Families are covered with cribs on request and have easy access to the beach. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, as well as one located on the property.
Also, you get free parking and an airport shuttle. This is probably the best luxury villa in Naxos for families, just because they make all the logistics so easy.
7. 18 Grapes Hotel
Location: Agios Prokopios
Ratings: 9.5/10 ⭐ (95 reviews)

With just 18 rooms, 18 Grapes Hotel maintains a small and quiet atmosphere. You’ll notice the thoughtful touches, like a welcome bottle of wine and breakfast made to order (yes, pancakes included).
The rooms are also impeccable.
Some have private hot tubs, others come with full-on private pools. The Sea View Suite with Outdoor Hot Tub is a favorite for couples, while the family suite has two hot tubs and a private garden setup. Cribs are available for free, and families will appreciate the connecting rooms.
You also get a gym, a spa, and a super relaxed vibe that still feels upscale. It’s polished without being pretentious, and perfect if you’re looking for a quieter spot in Agios Prokopios.
The only downside is that it’s not super close to the beach, at roughly a 5–7 minute walk. If you’re renting a car in Naxos, this isn’t a major issue. However, for some people, it may be a deal breaker.
8. Medusa Beach Resort & Suites
Location: Plaka Beach
Ratings: 8.8/10 ⭐ (97 reviews)

If you want to step out of your room and straight onto the sand, Medusa Beach Resort is one of the few luxury villas in Naxos where that’s a reality.
It’s all the way on the quieter southern end of Plaka Beach, which gives it a peaceful, tucked-away feel.
The whole setup leans more towards a resort-style. You’ll find a pool surrounded by gardens, a beach bar for sunset drinks, and two on-site restaurants (one directly on the beach). Additionally, if you’re visiting with a family or larger group, you can opt for a two-story villa featuring walk-in showers, a full kitchen, and oversized bathrooms.
Free on-site parking is another bonus. You’ll want to rent a car if you’re staying in Plaka, and the resort is only a 20-minute drive to the port and Naxos Town. The positive trade-off is direct beach access and a more relaxed atmosphere.
It’s a solid pick if you want something quiet and beachfront, but still comfortable and convenient.
9. Mythology Naxos Villas
Location: Stelida
Ratings: 9.7/10 ⭐ (29 reviews)

Mythology is all about privacy, space, and views. Set on a hillside above Agios Prokopios Beach, it’s an ideal place to fully unwind in your own space with nothing but sky and sea around.
It’s tucked on a breezy hillside just above Agios Prokopios Beach, but still just a 7-minute drive to town.
Each villa comes with its own private pool, shaded outdoor terrace, and plenty of space. Inside, you’ll find clean and comfortable beds, daily cleaning, and handy extras, including a Nespresso machine, fridge, and toaster. Some of the villas (geared more towards families) have two bedrooms and full kitchens.
The layout provides each villa with a sense of privacy, and the views extend all the way to Paros.
As for the service, it feels a little more low-key than other places. They’ll help with things like taxi pickups, rentals, or restaurant tips if you need it, but it never feels overbearing.
10. Legato Spa Suites
Location: Naxos Chora
Ratings: 10/10 ⭐ (6 reviews)

If you’re looking for a private spa-level setup that still puts you close to Naxos Chora, Legato Spa Suites is hard to beat. It’s also less than a 10-minute walk to Agios Georgios Beach, so you’re not really missing the beach while you’re there.
Each suite feels more like your own mini wellness retreat. Expect a private plunge pool, rooftop terrace, outdoor hot tub, hammam-style steam shower, and even a sauna or massage chair in some units.
Some suites have multiple bathrooms and kitchens, making them an ideal fit for couples who want to feel like they’re at home or small groups who want to spread out.
This isn’t a traditional hotel, so there’s no lobby or daily breakfast, but it’s loaded with thoughtful extras. You’ll find everything from filtered water in the fridge to full-size amenities already stocked in the pantry.
If you’re wrapping up a longer trip or just want to slow down and recharge, this is one of the most private and comfortable spots on the island.
11. El Mar
Location: Naxos Chora
Ratings: 9.5/10 ⭐ (109 reviews)

El Mar feels like your own vacation home in Naxos.
It’s way more remote and peaceful than anywhere else on this list, yet it’s still just a 5-minute drive (or a 15-minute walk) to the heart of Naxos Chora.
Inside El Mar, the suites have private terraces, interiors with soft tones, plush beds, rainfall showers, and thoughtful lighting throughout. Some rooms also have terraces facing the ocean (but even the garden-facing ones are beautiful). There’s a small spa, pool, and on-site staff, too.
If you want the design and service of a boutique hotel, but with additional privacy and peace that’s hard to find this close to town, El Mar is one of the best options.
12. Naxian On the Beach
Location: Plaka Beach
Ratings: 8.6/10 ⭐ (68 reviews)

If your ideal stay includes waking up to the sound of waves and walking straight onto the sand, Naxian On the Beach is one of the few places in Naxos that has it. It’s an adults-only resort, right on Plaka Beach, and has a relaxed, boho-meets-boutique vibe that feels instantly like vacation.
Every suite faces the sea and comes with a private balcony (some with jet tubs).
Then inside, it’s all soft linens, espresso machines, and rain showers 🙂
The on-site restaurant, Tortuga Beach Bar, is one of the best places to eat in Plaka, adding to the charm with creative Greek dishes and sunset cocktails steps from your door (Breakfast is also included btw).
It’s a small team here, but they’re incredibly attentive and ready to help with everything from massages to last-minute scooter rentals without being overbearing.
If you’re coming as a couple and want true beachfront living with comfort and style, Naxian on the Beach is it.
13. Virtu on the Hill
Location: Stelida
Ratings: 9.6/10 ⭐ (45 reviews)

Similar to El Mar, Virtu on the Hill has one of the most remote vibes of any villa on this list. So, if you’re trying to find a place that feels like your own private vacation home, this is another great option near the beach!
It’s set high above Stelida with panoramic views across the Aegean from each balcony. Most suites also feel super luxurious with elegant furniture and saltwater plunge pools.
Breakfast is homemade each morning and served with a view at Virtu’s on-site Greek restaurant (which—sidenote—does an excellent job catering to different dietary needs.)
Despite feeling remote, it’s just a 7-minute drive to Chora and a 3-minute drive from Agios Prokopios Beach!
It’s a solid pick if you want a quiet, well-designed place to relax, without being totally off the grid!
Conclusion
If you’ve made it this far, you can see that Naxos has no shortage of stunning luxury villas across the island, from Chora to Plaka Beach and Stelida.
