21 Incredible Boutique Hotels in Naxos [2026]
Naxos has quietly become one of the best islands to stay on in Greece for a less-crowded beach holiday. It’s full of history and home to a lively Chora, as well as a handful of beachfront towns and charming villages.
Out of everywhere we’ve been in Greece, we’ve found some of the most charming places to stay in Naxos, including beachfront rooms with a private hot tub, cozy villas in the heart of Chora, and even cliffside rooms overlooking the Temple of Apollo.
It’s also much cheaper to get one-of-a-kind accommodation in Naxos than on more touristy Greek islands (including Paros).

Regardless of which area you plan to visit, there are likely some quality boutique hotels where you can stay for a few nights.
But the hotel you choose can really make or break your experience, which is probably why hotel recommendations are the most common question we get in our Private Facebook Group (Join here)
So…we pulled together all the most reputable and standout boutique hotels in Naxos to make it incredibly easy to find the one that’s right for you.
All the boutiques are organized by region (you can read about each neighborhood here if you’re unfamiliar with the island’s layout).

Feel overwhelmed already?
If skimming through 20+ hotels feels overwhelming, or you really just want to know our absolute favorite spots (assuming all had rooms available — they sell out quickly), here’s a quick glance at our top 3!
Budget-friendly: Hotel Grotta – Hotel Grotta is a super popular and affordable place just above Naxos Town (10-minute walk), with killer sunset views, great personal service, and extras like a sauna, hammam, and homemade breakfast.
Mid-Range: Kouros Art Hotel – Kouros Art Hotel is an adults-only retreat in Stelida, offering epic views of Agios Prokopios Beach, a stylish pool and spa area, and a cool cocktail bar on-site.
Luxury Boutique: Astir of Naxos – Astir of Naxos is a laid-back luxury hotel just a few minutes from Agios Georgios Beach, with a big pool setup, modern Cycladic rooms, and a quieter vibe.
Naxos Chora
Chora, also known as Naxos Town, is the heart of Naxos, where the ferry arrives and daily life revolves around its shops, cafes, and some of the best restaurants on the island. It’s also where you find the most iconic historical sights on the island, like the Temple of Apollo (Portara) and the 1000-year-old Venetian Castle of Naxos.
We stayed in a small villa here on our first trip to Greece, and while we didn’t have the greatest experience at THAT hotel, we’ve found quite a few other cozy boutiques that are worth booking!
Venetian Suites
8.9/10 ⭐ – 176 reviews (see more)
If you’re looking to stay somewhere with a bit of history and charm, Venetian Suites is set inside a restored Venetian building at the center of Naxos Town. You’ll get the classic stone walls with Cycladic details, but everything is updated to feel clean and comfortable.
The rooms are spacious, with huge beds, and certain rooms even have balconies overlooking the Old Town.
There’s no spa or pool here, but the vibe is more about immersing yourself in the local atmosphere. Plus, the location makes it so convenient. You’re literally at the center of everything, but it still feels a little tucked away from the busy streets.
Iliada Sunset Suites
9.3/10 ⭐ – 216 reviews (see more)
Sitting back in a neighborhood called “the grotta” is a boutique hotel called Iliada Sunset Suites.
As you can guess from the name, it has one of the best sunset views of the in Naxos, with the sun setting behind the famous Temple of Apollo, and there’s an infinity pool at the edge of the cliff where you can watch!
The whole property is adult-only, so it feels a little more classy and private than other boutiques near Chora. Also, there are some suites with a private jacuzzi facing the ocean (Penelope Suite). You can also get massages on-site, and breakfast is delivered to your room each morning.
It’s safe to say that this is definitely one to book if you’re traveling as a couple or celebrating something special.
Legato Spa Suites
9.7/10 ⭐ – 18 reviews (see more)
If you’re all about relaxation, Legato Spa Suites in Naxos Town might be your dream stay.
It’s a brand-new boutique hotel, and every suite has a private spa in your room—with a hot tub, sauna, steam bath, and even a massage chair. The entire room design is sleek yet cozy, featuring memory foam mattresses, rainfall showers, and a balcony/terrace.
It’s like having your own personal wellness retreat.
You’re also in the most convenient part of Naxos, just down the street from Agios Georgios Beach, but still within walking distance of the town center. There’s free private parking, although it’s definitely made for smaller cars.
Adriani Hotel
9.0/10 ⭐ – 136 reviews (see more)
Adriani Hotel is one of our favorite hotels in Naxos Chora when we want to be close to everything but in a slightly quieter section of Naxos Town.
It’s just a short walk from the port and the Old Town, so you can easily get around without feeling stuck in the busiest streets.
In addition to being incredibly affordable, the rooms are clean and comfortable, with big beds and rainfall showers in the bathroom. Some rooms even have balconies, which is a nice bonus if you enjoy sitting outside with your morning coffee.
There’s no pool or spa, but more than any other boutique hotel in the area, people consistently talk about how good the homemade breakfast is.
Mariet Naxos Elegant Suites
9.2/10 ⭐ – 255 reviews (see more)
Mariet Naxos Elegant Suites is just two minutes from the Port, making it one of the most convenient places you can stay when arriving by ferry (we have lugged our suitcases over a kilometer before).
One of the best parts of staying here is the furnished rooftop terrace, which has an incredible view of Naxos Port and the Portara in the distance. The hotel also has a small spa and fitness center, and they’re very quick to help arrange any transportation you could need, from car rentals to boat rentals and even scooters and e-bikes.
All 5 suites are super spacious and aesthetic, but if you’re really hoping for a private hot tub, you’ll want to book the Gold Suite / Portara Suite.
Castle Mansions
9.8/10 ⭐ – 172 reviews (see more)
Castle Mansions is tucked just below the Venetian Castle, toward the center of the port, among a pile of cobbled alleys and stone buildings. This gives anyone staying here a classic Old Town feel but with all modern living arrangements.
There’s no spa or fancy extras like you’d get at Legato Spa Suites or Iliada Suites, but if your priority is location and having that “local living” setup, it’s a great fit.
The apartments here are spacious and designed for extended holidaymakers. Most of them have separate living areas and small kitchens, which is nice for people like us who often stay for a week or two. All of the rooms are awesome, but the best views are from the Superior Two-Bedroom Apartment with Sea View.
This is also the most ideal room for families in Naxos!
Xenia Hotel
8.9/10 ⭐ – 180 reviews (see more)
On the far side of the harbor, next to our favorite coffee shop (The Rebel Project) and our favorite gyro shop (To Spitiko Naxos), is Xenia Hotel.
This puts it right in the middle of all the action in town, and you have basically a 10-minute walk to Agios Georgios Beach, the Temple of Apollo, and everything in between.
The hotel only has 18 rooms, but each is unique and designed with a minimal aesthetic. Amenities include huge Coco-Mat mattresses and noise-proof shutters for restful sleep, free Wi-Fi, and many rooms that come with balconies overlooking the charming streets of Naxos Town.
While Xenia doesn’t have on-site dining, its central location means you’re steps away from various restaurants and cafes. There’s also a 24-hour front desk, a doctor on call, and even a babysitter on call if you’re traveling with small children and want a night out as a couple!
Hotel Grotta
9.6/10 ⭐ – 838 reviews (see more)

Hotel Grotta is a more budget-friendly hotel near Grotta Beach and Iliada Sunset Suites. It prides itself on being a hotel for the “discerning traveler who wants comfort and personal attention but with reasonable rates.”
Because of this mission, it’s one of the most popular places to stay on the entire island and is almost universally beloved by its guests.
It’s set on a hill just above Naxos Town, giving you wide-open views of the Aegean and the famous Portara—especially at sunset. You are only a 10-minute walk from the town center, but being slightly above it all gives the boutique hotel a quieter, more relaxed feel.
There’s also a small indoor pool, a whirlpool, complimentary homemade breakfast, and even a sauna and hammam, which is a nice bonus for a hotel in this price range.
Agios Georgios Beach
Agios Georgios is considered Naxos’ Town Beach and one of the most popular places to stay, though it’s not quite in town like you might expect.
The beach is approximately a 10-15 minute walk south of Chora, making it close enough to be convenient while still offering a quieter, more peaceful atmosphere.
Galaxy Hotel
9.2/10 ⭐ – 311 reviews (see more)
Galaxy Hotel is one of the best options for people who want an extra luxurious place to stay near Agios Georgios Beach.
It’s just a few hundred meters from shore, but there’s a massive pool on site, so you can still enjoy the sun and cool off easily when visiting in the summer. The poolside bar is also awesome, with a huge list of small bites, wine, and local cocktails.
The hotel has quite a few rooms (so you can usually find availability), and everything was renovated back in 2019, so it feels brand new!
Although if we had our pick, we’d book the Superior Double Room with Sea View for an unobstructed view of the ocean.
Hotel Kymata
9.2/10 ⭐ – 364 reviews (see more)
Hotel Kymata is right on the line between Naxos Chora and Agios Georgios. It’s close to Plateia Protodikeiou, which functions as an Old Town Square, with locals congregating at all times of the day and night.
We stayed in this area on our first trip to Naxos and ended up close to a few of our favorite restaurants on the island.
This boutique hotel is also adults-only, so you’ll definitely get a more elegant, relaxing vibe throughout your stay. The rooms and common areas are designed with light, airy, modern decor.
There’s no pool, but you can easily walk to the beach for a dip in the water, and a buffet breakfast is included every morning of your stay!
Crystal Mare Suites
9.8/10 ⭐ – 38 reviews (see more)
Crystal Mare Suites is right off the main highway leading from Naxos Chora to Agios Prokopios. This gives you easy access to the best parts of the island and ridiculously easy transportation to/from the airport!
This is definitely the more relaxed and beautiful side of Agios Georgios Beach, and while you won’t have a great view of the beach from the property, the garden is beautiful, and you’ll be a super short walk from the shore.
We also love the way they design their rooms. Everything is whitewashed with warm lighting and minimalistic furniture, and certain rooms have their own private balconies!
Alkyoni Beach Hotel
8.4/10 ⭐ – 300 reviews (see more)
Alkyoni Beach Hotel is a stone’s throw from Crystal Mare Suites, but it’s much more luxurious and even closer to the beach.
You’ll have access to a huge pool with sunbeds and vegetation surrounding the common area, making everything feel more private and like a secluded beach resort.
The rooms cover a range of budgets, with everything from standard doubles to larger luxury suites.
If you’re looking for something special, the Seaside Residence with Outdoor Jacuzzi and Sea View is easily the most luxurious experience. Sitting in your private hot tub with the Aegean right in front of you is pretty hard to beat.
Georgia Mare
9.7/10 ⭐ – 542 reviews (see more)
Georgia Mare is another hotel located on the edge of Naxos Chora, right before you reach Agios Georgios Beach.
It’s about a one-minute walk from the shoreline (so not quite beachfront, but close enough that popping down for a swim before breakfast is easy enough), and you won’t find many boutique hotels near Agios Georgios at this price point.
The rooms are simple but spacious, with everything you need to be comfortable. Breakfast is incredible, and another standout for the hotel is the view from certain rooms overlooking the pool and turquoise sea.
Astir of Naxos
8.9/10 ⭐ – 219 reviews (see more)
For a luxury boutique hotel on Agios Georgios, Astir of Naxos is your best bet.
It may not be quite as luxurious as what you’ll experience at some ultra-high-end resorts in Greece, but it gives a fairly high-end experience, and the incredible hospitality makes up for any lack of luxury in the facilities.
You’re less than a five-minute walk from Agios Georgios Beach, but you won’t need to go to the beach to cool off because it has a full resort set up by a large pool with sun loungers and umbrellas.
The nice part is that it feels quieter than some of the hotels on the other side of Agios Georgios, and the rooms are modern but classic Cycladic style. There’s a range of options, but the Honeymoon Room is the one to go for if you’re after something a little more special.
Stelida
Stelida is sort of the ‘ritzy’ area of Naxos. This is where most of the exclusive boutiques are located, so if you’re looking for a specifically luxurious or romantic holiday and have the budget for it, then this is where you’ll want to book.
It’s also in a great location, right next to the airport and about the same distance from Naxos Chora and Agios Prokopios!
Kavuras Village
8.4/10 ⭐ – 917 reviews (see more)
For starters, Kavuras Village has one of the best hotel pools on the entire island of Naxos. There are comfortable sun loungers, a large pool, and views of the mountain behind the resort and the ocean in the distance!
Stelida is known as one of the luxury areas of Naxos, and this boutique hotel definitely lives up to that hype!
This hotel is also extremely kid-friendly, featuring a designated kids’ pool, playground, and lawn games (including basketball, soccer, and beach volleyball) to keep everyone entertained on-site.
The big downside is that it is a 12-minute walk from Agios Prokopios Beach, but if you don’t mind driving in Naxos, then you can easily book a rental car to get to/from the beach!
Kouros Art Hotel
9.2/10 ⭐ – 123 reviews (see more)
Right up the street from Kavuras Village is another 4-star hotel called Kouros Art Hotel.
The difference is that it’s adults-only, which creates a very quiet and peaceful experience.
Similar to other hotels in Stelida, we recommend renting a car because you can’t really walk anywhere, but it has some of the best views on the island right at your doorstep!
There’s an incredible aesthetic cocktail bar and a stunning pool with an outdoor spa (with a hydro massage).
They’re only open between May and October, so if you’re traveling to Naxos during the offseason, you’ll have to find a different hotel.
Agios Prokopios
Agios Prokopios is Naxos’s ultimate Mediterranean beach destination, lined with sunbeds, pavilions, luxury resorts, and chic beachfront boutiques.
It’s right down the hill from Stelida, so you’ll still find a handful of more high-end places to stay, but they are slightly more affordable. You’ll also be right next to the beach and have easier access to local tavernas, shops, and small grocery stores!
Mitos Suites
9.6/10 ⭐ – 78 reviews (see more)
Agios Prokopios is probably the busiest beach town in Naxos. There are tons of beach resorts, restaurants, beach bars, and other shops. But if you’re after a quieter, intimate hotel near the busy beach town, Mitos Suites is an excellent option.
The boutique hotel is tucked away from the main stretch but only a 10-minute walk from Agios Prokopios Beach, and it feels much more personal than some of the big resorts nearby.
However, the property still provides a 4-star experience. The suites are super spacious, and some (like the Eros, Mythos, and Aphrodite Suite) even have private hot tubs on the balcony! You’ll also have access to the property’s multiple pools, sunbeds, complimentary breakfast, lawn games, private parking, and massages (on request).
Ariadne Hotel
9.1/10 ⭐ – 219 reviews (see more)
Ariadne Hotel is a boutique hotel that’s much closer to the water. You’re literally right down the street from all the beach bars along the coast.
Being this close to the shore is great because you don’t have to pack everything into your car, worry about parking, and commit to spending 3-4 hours at the beach. You can come and go as you please, and if you wish you had something in the room, you can walk back in less than 5 minutes!
As much as we love the location of Ariadne Hotel, it’d be a great place to book a room, regardless.
All guests get complimentary breakfast at Kahlua Cafe (right on the beach), the rooms are clean, most suites have a balcony facing the sea, and there’s a pool if you need a break from the saltwater!
Other Boutique Hotels in Naxos
Cycladic Islands Hotel & Spa – Agia Anna
9.0/10 ⭐ – 258 reviews (see more)
Agia Anna is like the laid-back little sister to Agios Prokopios. It’s a small fishing village only 10 minutes away and has the same soft sand and crystal-clear water, but it feels a little quieter with just a few beachfront tavernas and boutique hotels.
The cutest place to stay in the area is Cycladic Islands Hotel & Spa, which sits just up the hill from the beach and offers views of the ocean and the entire village below.
The bright and breezy rooms have private balconies and free breakfast. On-site, there is an outdoor pool (split into sections for adults and children), a sauna (hammam), and a full spa.
If we’re not staying in Chora, then this is often our favorite spot since it’s walking distance from 3 of the best beaches in Naxos (Agios Prokopios, Agia Anna, and Maragkas Beach)
Aegean Palace – Plaka Beach
8.5/10 ⭐ – 342 reviews (see more)
Plaka Beach is probably the most underrated and relaxing area in Naxos. Compared to Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna, it’s so relaxing, with long stretches of beach that feel almost untouched in some spots. There are still beach bars and tavernas scattered along the shore, but everything feels a little slower-paced.
Aegean Palace Boutique Hotel sits just off the beach, and some even say it feels more like a resort, with its massive pool, on-site restaurant, and wellness center (with an indoor jacuzzi and sauna).
The rooms are also very impressive. You can splurge on one of the suites with the private pool, but if you’re trying to stay on a budget, the junior suite is plenty comfortable for a few days at the beach!
Finikas Hotel – Alyko Beach
8.9/10 ⭐ – 255 reviews (see more)
Finikas Hotel is a condo-style accommodation right on the coast between Alyko Beach and Pyrgaki Beach.
These two beaches are arguably the most beautiful in Naxos. We loved spending the day here, exploring the multiple coves, an abandoned hotel with street art, and the cedar forest growing among the sand dunes.
If you’re after a secluded holiday away from all the crowds, this would be the BEST boutique hotel in Naxos for you.
The hotel itself also feels like a little oasis, with palm trees, a big pool, and gardens that give it almost a tropical vibe. Rooms are available for just about every budget, and there’s a restaurant right at the resort (Avgi Restaurant) where you can eat with a view of the beach.
So Where Will You Stay?
Picking the right place to stay is a huge part of planning a trip to Naxos, and choosing the right area can make all the difference in your experience.
That’s why we spent days narrowing down the best boutique hotels across the island.
Hotel Grotta is the best budget-friendly option. Kouros Art Hotel is our favorite mid-range boutique. And if you’re looking for something super special, we would splurge on a night or two at Astir of Naxos.
Each hotel on this list offers something different, so you can choose the one that best fits your budget and travel style.
